Dmitry Medvedev: Russia will strengthen its position as a grain exporter Russia is able to strengthen its position as a grain exporter, TASS reports the words of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

Speaking about agriculture in general, Medvedev called import substitution in this industry one of the most important areas. He recalled the approval of a new version of the state program for the development of the agricultural complex, according to which domestic producers of meat, vegetables and fruits will receive additional support. Earlier, the official reported that it is planned to allocate 2.13 trillion rubles from the federal budget for state support of the agro-industrial complex until 2020.

In 2015, it is planned to allocate 187.9 billion rubles from the federal budget for the development of agriculture under the state program. And the 2014 harvest will be used for the development of production and import substitution in 2015.
