Mountain Grain Assembly 2019 From 29.01 to 01.02. the IV Mountain Grain Assembly was held in Krasnaya Polyana, where Ecoline traditionally took part. The Assembly gathered experts, analysts and operators of the grain market of Russia, Kazakhstan, Poland, Thailand and Ukraine.

The forum was organized by an analytical agency specializing in the grain and oilseed markets of ProSerno LLC. V. Petrichenko, CEO of ProSerno, gave the first forecast for 2019 and said that grain harvest could exceed 127 million tons, which would be the second result after the record of 2017 with 135.5 million tons. Also among the speakers were Andrey Klepach, Deputy Chairman of the Board of VEB, Yulia Koroleva, Director of the FSBI Grain Quality Assessment Center, and Igor Pavensky, Director of the Marketing Department of Rusagrotrans JSC.

The main topics are the results of the grain season 2018-19, forecasts for winter and spring 2019, scenario sets for the development of the grain market, etc. During the discussions, the participants considered the impact of macroeconomic, export, production, logistics and conjunctural factors that will shape the situation in the grain and oilseed markets in the near future.
