XVI Grain Round table On April 20, Ecoline LLC visited the XVI Grain Round Table, which was held in Novosibirsk with the participation of the leading Russian expert "ProSerno".

Traditionally, representatives of grain companies from Omsk, Novosibirsk, Tomsk and Kemerovo regions, as well as from Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk and Altai Krai took part in the event. During the discussions, a number of sessions were held in a very tense atmosphere, for example, the situation regarding the purchase of export shipments of wheat under a subsidy under the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1595.

Representatives of the Omsk Grain Company are not ready to continue the purchase until an additional volume of quotas is signed. Accordingly, agricultural producers, already in a difficult situation with excess grain reserves in Siberia, lose precious time to start the process of grain export from warehouses and census at elevators.

The following topics were also touched upon: grain balance, scenarios for the development of grain prices within the market in 2018, reserves of productive moisture by the beginning of the growing season, the quality of the 2017 harvest.
